Municipal Emergency Plan of Tarquinia implementation to define the methods and procedures for the activation and emergency intervention of both the Civil Protection Office and the Municipal Operational Structures and Support Functions in relation to predefined risk scenarios to which the territory is subject.
The Municipal Emergency Plan is the organizational model of the operational response to events which, within the municipal area, can produce harmful effects on man, the environment and heritage. It represents the instrument required by law to prevent, if possible, and manage emergencies deriving from foreseeable and unpredictable events that may occur in the area. On the basis of reference scenarios, it determines the strategies aimed at reducing the damage and overcoming the emergency and has as its primary purpose the protection of people, the environment and the assets present in areas at risk.
The risks have been mapped, the resources that can be deployed have been identified and the operating procedures have been defined in the various scenarios. The WebGIS application completes the job.
