From 1990 to 2019 Alpha Consult carried out the definition of the hydrographic basins and then the web service for the publication of hydrographic and mareographic data collected by the Hydrographic and Mareographic Office of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and subsequently transferred to the Lazio Region.

The definition and classification of the catchment area of the Tiber, Fiora and other regional rivers was mapped and superimposed on the network of hydrographic and rainfall stations. Temperature and hydrometry data were distributed in real time.

More than 700 stations located in the regional territory (Compartment of Rome) sent data to the central server thus allowing the processing of such data which allowed users to choose the amount of interest in terms of information and sampling period.

A further benefit was obtained through the WEBGIS cartography which superimposed such data on the geological, geomorphological and fragile areas subject to flooding and landslides for early warning services. Since 2004, the data has been supplied to the Regional Functional Centre, whose operations room was located in Rome in via Mozambano.
